Florida Black Folks is a society of African Americans from Florida which strives to keep the heritage of African Americans in Florida alive.
People are the world’s greatest resource. We work to preserve the facts and artifacts of the presence of black people in the southeastern USA and to attract younger generations to their people’s history. Our posts are designed to inform, raise awareness about the human rights, encourage conversation and occasionally entertain our readers.
My name is Jennifer Stansbury and I am a writer and chief editor of this website. I graduated with an LL.M. in Intercultural Humans Rights. I love to travel and visit various places that have some historical significance. Culture is very important part of human life, so I spend a lot of my free time reading about it. I am also an African-American, who is proud of her full heritage. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
